Opis

At European level, structural design has to be performed according to the EuroCodes. Those design codes do not provide detailed information on the application and interpretation of advanced design methods. Thus, assessment and acceptance of those results is a serious issue among civil engineers. The seminar will introduce in nonlinear advanced design methods, its application and assessment according to the Eurocodes and the transfer of digital building data to structural design software. The seminar represents the outcomes from European founded project CavaEurocodes.
